CHARITY PRO-AM
The Ocala Open has become a tradition at Candler Hills Golf Course. Year after year, we partner with local businesses and residents to enjoy the great game of golf while also benefiting our community.In addition to the Charity Pro-Am, we host a three day tournament where talented and world class professional golfers challenge our course, and each other, for the first place prize.
OCALA OPEN
To date, the Ocala Open has raised $993,064 for local charities. We couldn’t do that without your support.Now in its seventeenth year, this event showcases Ocala as a great place to not only visit and have fun, but to live and work. Partnering with the Ocala Open allows you to make a difference in our community while promoting your organization to residents, visitors. and spectators.
SPECTATOR TIPS
Plan to wear comfortable walking shoes.
Walk – don’t run.
Stay behind the gallery ropes and obey the officials and marshals.
Kneel if you are near the ropes so that those behind you may see.
Observe silence throughout each shot.
Do not move until all players in each group have completed their shots. Respect the players and caddies during their round, give them space and do not interrupt them during the round.

Home of the Ocala Open golf tournament, the Candler Hills Golf Course is a beautiful Par-72 semi-private championship golf course that has seven sets of tees ranging in length from 4,877 to 7,233 yards creating a rewarding experience for golfers of various handicaps. Enjoy the picturesque scenery and unique layout, but most importantly, enjoy your round of golf! With a Palm Springs-style landscape the course’s natural splendor is enhanced by the variety of trees including sabal palms, live oaks and slash pines and various ornamental grasses… this is not your typical Florida golf course.

Candler Hills Golf Club has been committed to their continued philanthropic efforts since opening in 2005. Raising almost a million dollars through hosting charity events to their own Ocala Open Charity Pro-Am which benefits to local organizations, Hospice of Marion and Interfaith Emergency Services.
